Care & Washing Guide

We designed the Woof Big Dog Bed with practicality and comfort in mind. Dogs may not prioritize hygiene, but we do! Here’s everything you need to know about keeping your dog's bed clean and fresh.

Keeping Your Dog's Bed Clean

No need to wash the entire bed—just follow these simple steps:

Unzip the cover and take out the mattress.

Remove the chin rest bolsters by unzipping the inner zipper.

Machine wash the cover on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.

Air dry inside out and in the shade – do NOT tumble dry.

The inner foam has a protective lining, so you don’t need to wash it. Washing the memory foam can cause damage. For minor stains, spot cleaning is a quick alternative to full washing.

Can You Wash the Memory Foam?

No, the memory foam should never be washed. Instead:

  • Wash the bed cover as outlined above.

  • Wipe the inner linings with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

  • If using the Waterproof Lining Kit, wash it on cold and hang it to dry

Best Way to Remove Fur and Dirt?

Vacuuming is a great option to remove fur and dirt from your dog’s bed. For an even better result, try using a Furfy—it uses static electricity to collect pet hair without needing a vacuum.

Is It Safe to Use Bleach or Strong Detergents?

No. Always use a mild detergent and wash on a gentle cycle to preserve the quality of your Woof Big Dog Bed Cover.

Can You Use a Dryer for the Cover?

No, we recommend air drying inside out and in the shade. Most covers dry within a few hours!

What to Do If Your Dog Bites or Eats Part of the Bed?

The Woof Big Dog Bed is made from safe, non-toxic materials, but it is not designed to be eaten. The foam is CertiPUR-US Certified, meaning it meets high safety standards. However, if ingested, it could cause intestinal blockages. If you think your dog has swallowed any foam, consult your veterinarian immediately.

Reassembling the Bed After Washing

Once the cover is completely dry, follow these steps:

.Lay out the bolsters with the curved side facing down and the shortest edge in the middle of the bed.

.Align the angled sides with the flat side up.

.Flip the black base material back over the brown inner lining.

.Make sure the memory foam layer is correctly positioned.

.Zip up the base section and tuck the zipper handle inside the safety hood
